When passing by the Leal Senado Building, constructed in the late 16th century, the melodious music is sure to attract visitors to stop and listen. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in the afternoon, wonderful small concerts are held in the building's lobby, using music to adorn this Portuguese-style building that has witnessed over 400 years of historical change.
The historic Leal Senado Building, facing Senado Square, is the atmospheric venue for these 20-minute concerts. The ancient site also houses an old library of historic documents and an art gallery. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Historic Centre of Macao."
