As part of its ongoing "Science Popularization Series," the Macao Science Center presents a special lecture and workshop titled "Know Your Lock" to coincide with the opening of a new exhibition on locks. Two renowned experts in the field of locks and lock mechanisms will share their knowledge with the public.
Lecture Details
Lecture 1: My Commoner's Hobby: Ancient Chinese Locks
- Speaker: Dr. Yen Hong-Sen
- Speaker Bio: Professor and Vice President of National Cheng Kung University, former Director of the Kaohsiung Museum of Science and Technology. A specialist in mechanism innovation design and ancient machinery restoration, with over 300 papers and 12 books published.

Lecture 2: Comprehensive Lock Applications
- Speaker: Mr. Lee Chung-wah
- Speaker Bio: Known as the "Lock King" of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Honorary President and Technical Chairman of the China Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Lock Industry Association, and a First-Class Supervisor in the university's Building Services Unit.
