Mr. Pan is diagnosed with Kidult Man Syndrome. The symptom is that during the day, when occasionally facing 'problems that might belong to the adult world,' he enters a drowsy state and is unable to provide an 'adult answer.' No one knows—not even Mr. Pan himself—that when bedtime arrives, after he says goodnight to his wife and his teddy bear, and after the third snore is drawn... a little boy will peek out from his belly button...
This play uses puppets and rich, interesting shadow projection to present a fantastical dream world. It cleverly utilizes the unique space of the Ox Warehouse to construct a psychological adventure story, exploring the conflict and harmony between the human desire to grow up and the desire not to. It is a children's theatre production not solely aimed at children.
