After the Lunar New Year celebrations, let's extend the blessings and start a cycle of love! 💓
During the Lunar New Year, every household receives festive gifts from relatives and friends. After the holiday, if these items cannot be processed or consumed in time, it not only leads to food waste but also squanders the heartfelt intentions behind them! Joy Market Social Enterprise is organizing a New Year Food Recycling Drive in February. Kind-hearted individuals can choose to donate their New Year gifts to Joy Market's "One Person, One Love" program, benefiting those in need and their families. Let's extend the blessings, start a cycle of love, maximize the value of items, and contribute to environmental protection and public welfare!
Joy Market is a social enterprise established by the Macau Fu Hong Society. In addition to providing employment and development opportunities for people with disabilities, it operates on principles of innovation, environmental protection, and public welfare. After collecting good-quality new and second-hand items from the public, they are cleaned and repaired by people with disabilities. Useful resources are then redistributed back into the market through gifting and sales.
The primary beneficiaries of this recycling drive are individuals and families holding the Assistance Fund Beneficiary Identification Card. We welcome all kind-hearted people to participate enthusiastically, helping New Year gifts find a good "home." It's a win-win: contributing to environmental protection while helping those in need.
To make it more convenient for citizens to donate, we have set up four collection points:
1. Collection Point: Joy Market Social Enterprise
2. Collection Point: Pou Choi Centre
3. Collection Point: Pou Lei Centre
4. Collection Point: Yue Pan Wan @ Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre
