About the Artist

For nearly two decades, Jane Monheit has been a leading light in both the jazz and cabaret worlds, taking audiences back to a golden era of musical glamour. Dubbed one of the most refreshing and distinctive voices in modern jazz, her concerts feature eclectic sets that mix familiar standards—from "I Won’t Dance" (recorded as a duet with Michael Bublé) and "Cheek to Cheek" to pop compositions by Lennon/McCartney and Randy Newman.

Beyond classic jazz, the diva is also a passionate interpreter of Brazilian rhythms, often singing tunes by legendary composer Ivan Lins. Her debut album, Never Never Land (2000), remained on the Billboard Jazz chart for over a year and was voted Best Debut Recording by the Jazz Journalists Association. Her work has since earned numerous awards and two Grammy nominations (2003 & 2005).

In her first Macao appearance, Jane Monheit will perform with her top-notch five-piece band, delivering unique arrangements and a seductive performance that promises to be unforgettable.
