Flute legend Sir James Galway captivates audiences with his unique tone and masterful artistry, making him a celebrated name from classical to popular music. As one of the world's foremost instrumentalists, Galway has performed globally with top orchestras like the London Symphony Orchestra and Berlin Philharmonic, and for dignitaries including Queen Elizabeth II and the late Pope John Paul II.

With a career spanning multiple genres and over 30 million records sold, his iconic flute solo in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King soundtrack enchanted millions worldwide. He has collaborated with artists across the spectrum, from the Cuban jazz ensemble Tiempo Libre to legends like Ray Charles, Elton John, and Andrea Bocelli.

His illustrious achievements include the Gramophone 'Lifetime Achievement Award' and honors from Queen Elizabeth II, being appointed OBE in 1979 and knighted in 2001.

For this special recital, Sir James Galway will be joined by his wife, guest flautist Jeanne Galway, and pianist Phillip Moll. The program features works by legendary composers, from the elegant style of French composer Philippe Gaubert and the beautiful melodies of Cécile Chaminade to the vibrant tones of Baroque composer Marin Marais.
