Missed the first session in September? The second installment of the "It's Okay, We Can Be Sad" workshop is here! This workshop, part of the "Passing Through Life" series, invites you to explore and discuss the universal experience of grief and sadness.
Many cultures have a tendency to avoid or taboo certain feelings, creating invisible shackles that prevent us from truly understanding ourselves. From innocence to a life marked by experiences, our bodies, our journeys, our ever-changing thoughts, and our feelings accompany us throughout. Our life stories may be平淡 or full of ups and downs, but love and loss are inevitable paths. When sadness arises from loss, we may not even be aware of it, or we might find ourselves caught in an emotional whirlpool. We may feel lost, wanting to shake it off but finding it persistent, unable to even name it. Yet, we must go through it. There is no magic trick to easily过渡. Everything you feel is normal. The universal experience of meeting and parting brings us back to ourselves, helping us become our most complete selves. It's okay, I can actually be sad.
Caritas Macau Life Hope Hotline sincerely invites you to participate in the "It's Okay, We Can Be Sad" workshop to talk about grief together.
