Lecture Content

This lecture, catering to the public's interest in Japanese culture, will cover:

• The development of contemporary Japanese martial arts.
• A historical overview of Budo (the martial way).
• The influence of Budo culture and history on modern Japanese society.

Live Demonstration

Master Lu Chu, founder of the Macao Iaido Yangxin Hall, will be the keynote speaker and will conduct live demonstrations of two traditional Japanese martial arts:

• Iaido (居合道)
• Jodo (杖道)

The session aims to deepen participants' understanding of Japanese Budo culture. Through the spirit of 'entering the way through martial arts,' the lecture will explore the benefits of martial arts training for improving the health of urban dwellers and suitable training methods for different age groups.
