With increasing societal emphasis on the comprehensive quality of youth, the Asian International Mathematical Research Association (AIMRA) has decided to continue organizing the 2025 International Students Maths Challenge (ISMC) for students worldwide. The competition aims to enhance students' overall quality and intellectual level, fostering scientific thinking abilities.
The International Students Maths Challenge (ISMC) evolved and upgraded from the original Asian University Students Innovative Mathematics Challenge. Prior to this transformation, the competition had already attracted participation from students at top-tier universities, including Tsinghua University, The University of Hong Kong, and Renmin University of China, and received extensive coverage from over 150 media outlets globally.
Since its transformation, the ISMC has garnered strong support from institutions such as the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in China, the Malaysia National Cultural Centre Exchange Centre, and the Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon in China. It has also been widely reported by media including Xinhua News Agency, China Daily, and China.org.cn.
The competition strives to leverage its platform advantages to stimulate the comprehensive thinking potential of young people, positioning itself as a significant force in promoting the cultivation of innovative, application-oriented, and skilled talents on a global scale.
