Concert Overview
Macao Guqin Research Institute presents a landmark concert, the first of its kind in Macau's history, featuring China's foremost Guqin masters and heritage bearers. The program showcases the ancient art of the Guqin, a traditional Chinese zither, through a repertoire spanning different styles and historical periods.

- Li Xiang Ting: Guqin master, heritage bearer, and Professor at the Central Conservatory of Music.
- Gong Yi: Professor at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
- Leong Tek Ka (Liang Dijia): President of the Macao Guqin Research Institute, leading her "Qin Zheng" students.
- Composer Liu Chen Chen: Arranged a special piece for the concert.
Program Highlights
- Performance of classical and contemporary Guqin pieces.
- A special arrangement of Teresa Teng's famous song "Wish You a Long Life" (但願人長久) for Guqin and Guzheng by composer Liu Chen Chen, performed by Leong Tek Ka and her students to open the concert.
