"In the Scene, Out of the Scene - Macau Film Art Exhibition" takes you behind the scenes of filmmaking, exploring the creative process from the perspective of art directors, set decorators, and costume designers. The exhibition revisits three acclaimed recent Macau films—"That Year, I Was 17," "A Room of Her Own," and "Reincarnation"—revealing the ingenuity and craftsmanship behind the cinematic visuals.

Featuring five local art directors—Zheng Minjing, Luo Baoyi, Li Xiqing, Huang Zhijun, and Yao Luxin—the exhibition showcases their design notes, film props, and specially recorded interviews. Visitors will "enter the scene" to discover the secrets of Macau's visual storytelling and learn how local film art evolves from concept to realization, infusing characters, plots, and atmospheres with a uniquely Macau vitality and texture.

After "exiting the scene," you'll leave with a new aesthetic perspective shaped by local film art, ready to rediscover the familiar streets of Macau through fresh eyes.
