Event Overview
Join us this Christmas to become volunteer teachers! Experience "education" and "learning" from a different perspective. While sharing knowledge with children in Guangxi, you will learn about "contentment," "cherishing," "perseverance," and "striving." At the same time, create novel and interesting lessons for the children, spread health information to local residents, and sow the seeds of love.
Key Activities
- Volunteer Teaching: Conduct volunteer teaching activities at local township schools.
- Home Visits: Visit local families and assist them with their work.
- Christmas Party: Organize a Christmas party for local students, distribute gifts, and share the festive atmosphere together.
- Health Talks: Promote health information to local residents.
- Exchange: Communicate with local teaching staff to exchange teaching experiences and understand the local education situation.
Practical Information
- Dates: December 20–25, 2016 (6 days, 5 nights)
- Location: Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
- Target Participants: Macau residents aged 18–45 (Doctors, social workers, teachers, related professionals, and others passionate about volunteer service are welcome to apply).
- Quota: 24 participants
- Application Method: Complete the online application form or visit the association's office to fill out a form.
- Application Deadline: On or before November 4
- Interview Dates: November 11–13 (Selection will be based on the applicant's enthusiasm and proactiveness).
- Pre-trip Meeting: November 19, 3:00 PM–5:00 PM (Selected participants must attend, otherwise they may be placed on a waiting list).
