The 2014 I, Explorer program adopts the "S.D.U." theme, representing "Selection," "Dream," and "Unpredictable." The program aims to guide youth through the journey of making choices, pursuing dreams, and overcoming unpredictable challenges. The theme is also inspired by the Hong Kong SDU (Special Duties Unit), emphasizing teamwork and execution, reminding participants that ideas and innovation must be paired with action to succeed.
Program Objectives
- Introduce students to career planning, helping them deeply understand their personality, abilities, and professional interests for better life planning.
- Explore various industries in a fun and engaging way, connecting students with different professionals in Macau to understand the job market and clarify future career directions.
- Stimulate potential, discover students' diverse talents, and enhance their teamwork skills.
- Make productive use of the summer holiday for self-enrichment.
Program Format
Games, site visits, adventure experiences, interactive teaching, workshops, and thematic lectures.
Key Details
- Target Participants: Macau secondary school students aged 15–20
- Quota: 80 participants
- Application Period: From now until June 15, 2014
- Course Dates: June 22 – August 17, 2014 (Mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 14:00–17:00)
- Total Hours: Approximately 50 hours
- Fee: MOP 50

- Instructors: Career Planning Advisory Center consultants: Lau Chor Chun, Tang Chun Wa, Yau Un Teng, Tam Sze Lui.
- Venues: Association premises, New Tribe 2, etc. (Refer to the course schedule for details. The detailed schedule will be updated soon.)
Important Notes
Attendance will be recorded for all activities. Participants must attend all compulsory courses and maintain an attendance rate of 80% or higher to receive a graduation certificate and be eligible for a 3-day, 2-night graduation trip to Hong Kong. Participants with attendance below 80% will receive a certificate of participation only.
