Overview

To encourage children in Macau to engage in sports and cultivate athletic talent, HSBC Insurance and AKau Chau Pak Kei Football Training Centre are launching a Children's Summer Football Training Program from May to August 2022. Selected players will participate in a two-month special football training camp organized by the centre, culminating in a friendly match against a Greater Bay Area U12 youth team.

This program aims to enrich children's summer holidays, promote physical fitness through football, foster an interest in sports, encourage healthy lifestyle habits from a young age, and build teamwork skills. Selected players will not only learn football knowledge and techniques but will also have the opportunity to compete and exchange with a Greater Bay Area team under the guidance of the centre's top coaches. The organizers hope this friendly match will promote sports and cultural exchange between the youth of the Greater Bay Area and Macau, and foster collaboration between the two regions.

The invited Greater Bay Area team has extensive experience playing against teams from Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong, offering the young players a valuable learning opportunity.
