Competition Overview
Participants are required to use Macau as the writing background and express their impressions of this small city in Chinese.
Key Details
- Target Participants: Macau secondary school students. The competition is divided into Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary categories.
- Word Count: Junior Secondary: 600 words; Senior Secondary: 800 words.
- Submission Format: Essays must be submitted on original manuscript paper.
- Submission Deadline: From now until May 31, 2019.
Prizes
Each category (Junior and Senior Secondary) will award the following prizes:
- First Prize (1 winner)
- Second Prize (2 winners)
- Third Prize (3 winners)
- Merit Award (5 winners)
Winners will receive a trophy and a book voucher.
How to Submit
Participants must submit their work along with the completed registration form by the deadline. There are two submission methods:
- By Mail: Send to the association's address: Room T, 17th Floor, Southeast Asia Commercial Centre, Avenida de Praia Grande, Macau.
- Via School: Submit to your school. The organizing unit will arrange personnel to collect the works from schools.
