As the quality of life improves and digital technology becomes widespread, daily life is increasingly 'digitalized.' Electronic products have become primary tools, and online social platforms and video games are the leisure choices for most citizens. However, some people are not completely 'digitalized.' They view handicrafts as a hobby, transforming unique and skilled techniques into handmade items to share with friends or even bring to market. 'Handmade' is gradually becoming a creative industry.
The creative industry of 'handmade' is diverse. Using different raw materials and techniques, various types of works can be created: fabric art, painting, dolls, decorations, small clothing, accessories, small bags... and more. 'Handmade' items possess both aesthetic value and practical utility, attracting many to participate and earning the affection of the public. The increasing number of stalls at art markets and creative bazaars year after year, along with continuous crowds, demonstrates the charm of 'handmade.'
This handmade creations exhibition, planned for the Lianxing Arts and Culture Community, will invite 7 artisans/units involved in different handmade fields. Their uniquely styled handmade works will be presented to the audience from a creative and aesthetic perspective, distinct from the dense stall format of typical markets.
