The vast ocean is home to a diverse array of marine life. From the playful Chinese white dolphin and gentle green sea turtle to the fierce shark, giant tuna, and beautiful coral, these are the familiar creatures that share our seas and play a vital role in maintaining the marine ecological balance.
To encourage students and the general public to pay more attention to the state of our oceans, the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), in collaboration with Guangdong and Hong Kong, is organizing the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Marine Life Painting Competition 2016." The theme for this year is "The Future of the Ocean."
We hope that through artistic creation, participants can express their feelings towards marine life and paint the ocean world they envision, thereby promoting the important message of conserving marine life and the marine environment.
Everyone, adults and children alike, is welcome to participate and learn more about marine creatures together.
For detailed rules, submission guidelines, and more information, please visit the official competition website.
