Purpose
Organized under the "Youth Bay Area Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan" of the Macao SAR Government's policy, this program aims to organize Macao tertiary students studying in Macao or elsewhere to undertake summer internships at enterprises in cities within the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong. The goal is to deepen their understanding of Mainland China's economic and social development and expand their opportunities for innovative development within the Greater Bay Area. A maximum of 36 sponsored places are available.
Target Participants
- Holders of a Macao Resident Identity Card.
- Aged between 18 and 29.
- Tertiary students studying in Macao or elsewhere.

- Dates: July 6 to August 17, 2019

Internship positions are available in fields such as Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, Food Safety, and Disease Control. Click here to view detailed information.
Internship Format
- Internships are unpaid and conducted at Mainland enterprises or institutions.
- The guidance or training methods are arranged by the host unit.
- No employment relationship exists between the intern and the host unit.
Arrangements During Internship
- Weekend inspection activities during the internship period are arranged and managed by the undertaking unit.
- Accommodation, meals, transportation, and insurance costs during the internship are arranged and managed by the undertaking unit.
Deposit
- A deposit of MOP 1,000 is required upon application.
- Bank Account for Deposit: Bank of China Macau Branch, Account No.: 00180301102203227.
- Refund Policy:
- If the applicant is not selected, the full amount will be refunded to the applicant's designated Macao bank account within one week after the announcement of the selection results.
- Upon completion of the internship and submission of the internship report, the full amount will be refunded to the applicant on the day of the internship summary meeting.
- The deposit is non-refundable for those who withdraw from the program, whether before or during the internship.

- Application Period: April 16 to May 31, 2019
- Apply online by filling out the application form and uploading the following electronic documents simultaneously. Applicants may apply for up to two internship positions.
- Copy of a valid Macao Resident Identity Card.
- Copy of a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (commonly known as the "Home Return Permit").
- Copy of student ID card.
- Copy of university transcript.
- Personal resume (written in Simplified Chinese).
- Proof of deposit payment (copy of bank deposit slip).
