Green Workshops Series: Upcycling Crafts for World Environment Day
June 5th is World Environment Day. The Environmental Fun Station celebrates with a series of upgraded recycling workshops, inviting the public to participate. Transform waste into aesthetics, make cherishing objects a fashion and lifestyle attitude, repair the relationship with the earth together, and practice waste reduction and carbon reduction in daily life.
Workshop Details:
✦ 3D Dumpling Hair Tie ✦ Use eco-friendly materials to create cute and three-dimensional dumpling hair ties, transforming the symbol of Dragon Boat Festival into a small accessory that can be worn daily. Through creation, festival culture becomes a flowing green mark.
✦ Mugwort Handmade Paper ✦ Use mugwort and paper towel tubes to remake paper, experiencing the process of paper from waste to rebirth. The made mugwort paper can also be decorated into mosquito repellent incense plaque pendants. This workshop is not recommended for pregnant women
✦ Rattle Drum Handcraft ✦ Use eco-friendly and recycled materials to make festive rattle drums, feeling the vitality of Dragon Boat Festival culture through sound and rhythm. Encourage creativity instead of buying, injecting sustainable meaning into tradition.
✦ DIY Mini Lacquer Fan ✦ Use simplified lacquer art techniques to make mini lacquer fans. The works can transform into keychains, pendants, or bookmarks, combining practicality and aesthetics. Share the connection between traditional craftsmanship and sustainable living during the process.
