Purpose
Encourage students to think about how to practice the environmental 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle); encourage students to cherish and make good use of resources, further promoting the message of waste reduction at source; encourage students to persist in practicing 'green living' in their daily lives; enhance students' environmental awareness and concern for environmental issues.
Competition Details
- Target Participants: All Macau secondary school students.
- Competition Categories: Junior Secondary Group and Senior Secondary Group.
- Submission Deadline: November 1, 2016.
- Public Voting Period: November 14–25, 2016.
Work Specifications
- Video length must not exceed 3 minutes. May include animation, computer graphics, live-action performances, etc.
- Works must be in high definition and file size must not exceed 50MB.
- Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, WMV, or FLV.
Competition Process
- Participating teams must log in to the 'Delta Asia Cup Secondary School General Knowledge Quiz Competition' website and enter the 'Online Registration' page.
- Complete the 'Environmental Short Film Creation Competition' registration form on the 'Online Registration' page, including the contact person (must be one of the participants), upload the competition video and related materials, and finally click the 'Confirm Submission' button.
- Uploaded/submitted videos will be published on the 'Competition Videos' page within 2 working days after review by the organizer.
- All videos on the 'Competition Videos' page will be opened for public voting on November 14.
- Voting for this event is conducted as a one-time process. Each person can vote for a maximum of 3 videos. All votes/vote counts cannot be withdrawn after pressing the 'Vote' button.
- The video with the highest number of votes before the deadline will receive the Online Popularity Award.
- Competition videos must not involve copyright infringement or content that misleads public values.
- Winning works will be awarded and screened at the '26th Delta Asia Cup Secondary School General Knowledge Quiz Competition' on December 10, 2016.
- All works will be judged by an authoritative environmental organization. The organizer reserves the final right of interpretation for all matters related to this event.
