Greater Bay Area Cultural Theme Photography Competition
In recent years, people have visited and admired various locations within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in their own ways, capturing the cultural landscapes of its cities through their lenses. The competition entries will be shared with the public on online platforms and published in the magazine "Madness" (《瘋》刊), aiming to enhance public understanding of the Bay Area and promote multicultural integration through this event.
Competition Details
- Eligibility: All Macau residents are eligible to participate.
- Theme: The cultural landscape and humanistic features of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
- Submission Deadline: From now until July 18, 2025.
Submission Guidelines & Required Information
- File Format:
Title_AuthorName_PhoneNumber.jpg (e.g., BayAreaLandscape_ChanTaiMing_65432100.jpg). Files must be named according to this format, or they will not be considered for judging.
- Submission Limit: Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 entries.
- Required Information per Photo: Each photo must be accompanied by the shooting location, date, and a brief description (approximately 30 words).
- Technical Specifications: Digital files should have a maximum side length of 4000 pixels, file size must not exceed 5MB. Both color and black & white photos are acceptable.

Terms & Conditions (Summary)
- Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of all competition rules.
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules. Awards may be withheld if entries do not meet the judges' standards.
- All entries must be the original photographic work of the participant.
- Entries must be original works that have not been entered into any public competition or published previously. Participants are solely responsible for all legal liabilities (copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, etc.) related to their entries.
- All entries may be used by the organizer for promotional purposes related to the event without any payment to the participant.
- Personal data collected will be used solely for competition registration and will be kept confidential.
- Entries will not be returned. Copyright of winning entries will belong to the organizer.
- Winners must attend the award ceremony in person or send a representative; otherwise, the award will be forfeited.
- The organizer reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or interpret the competition rules, and to disqualify participants for misconduct.
- The organizer's decision on all matters is final.
