9 Key Competition Features
- The only international mathematics competition with its finals held annually in Hong Kong.
- A global competition organized by First Education Group in collaboration with leading international math institutions.
- Exam questions designed by math competition organizations from the US, UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong, reflecting international mathematical culture.
- Competition divided into Mathematics and Olympiad categories to allow students to showcase their strengths.
- Open to students from kindergarten (K1) to senior high school (S6), covering all grade levels.
- Top scorers in each grade will receive a joint recommendation letter from the organizer and co-organizers.
- Top scorers from each participating region will have the opportunity to attend the GMEC Elite Gala Dinner and engage in conversations with mathematics professors.
- Global Champion: Full scholarship to attend the AoPS Summer Math Competition Training Camp in the USA.
- Global 2nd & 3rd Place: Full scholarship to attend the Taiwan Math Elite Competition Training Camp.
Competition Details
- Final Categories (August): Kindergarten (K1-K3), Primary 1 to Senior 6 (one group per grade).
- Exam Format: Bilingual (Chinese/English) questions. Includes multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
- Practice Materials: Each registered participant will receive a set of the 2019 competition papers, distributed every Friday. Please check your inbox or spam folder.
