What is Social Innovation?

Social innovation is about thinking outside the box and taking innovative actions to change social conditions. Let's build a society based on concepts like the sharing economy, fair trade, equality for all, and ethical consumption. Let's turn our city into a laboratory!

How Crazy is 'Change Makers'?

2012-2014: Cai from the Chinese social innovation platform BottleDream, alone with one camera, crowdfunded 160,000 RMB, traveled across 4 continents and 30+ cities, filming the stories of 39 young people solving social problems in unique ways. They all share one identity: Change Makers.
Summer 2015: The one-hour documentary was freshly released. BottleDream had a crazy idea—open source sharing and public screenings. Within one month, over 400 spaces worldwide became screening hosts.
September 6, 2015: Social Enterprise Type is the screening host for this crazy initiative. We invite you, fellow crazy souls, to feel the passion of global social innovators, learn about unprecedented solutions, and let their powerful execution inspire your dreams!

What Can You Do at the Screening?

At the start, we will lead everyone in fun, thought-provoking games.
After the film, each person can write down the beginning of a change.
Once change has sprouted, all 'Aspiring Change Makers' are invited to join the 'Idea's Adventure' workshop: absorb the essence of the film, transform learning into action, and bring change for yourself and society.
