Galaxy Entertainment Group presents The Script Road Concert 'Samba de Guerrilla', a unique performance blending Bossa Nova samba music, live illustration, and poetic narration. This special concert will take place on October 14th at the Broadway Stage.
Three artists from Rio de Janeiro, Portugal, and Angola will weave stories and history from Brazil's colonial era to its early independence, set to the elegant rhythms of Bossa Nova. Audiences will experience a resonant evening where culture and music converge.
'Samba de Guerrilla' (by Luca Argel) is conceived as a three-act 'samba opera' that narrates the history of Brazil. Each act represents a distinct era of the country, featuring representative songs from that time.
Headlining the performance is Brazilian singer-composer Luca Argel, renowned for his soulful voice and emotive lyrics. He masterfully blends various musical styles to explore themes of love, relationships, and introspection.
The Script Road – Macau Literary Festival was initiated in 2012 by the local Portuguese newspaper Ponto Final. It is the world's first major literary event bringing together cultural and artistic figures from China and Portuguese-speaking countries. The festival annually invites renowned writers, publishers, translators, journalists, musicians, filmmakers, and visual artists to Macau.
