Activity Content

Boat Guide Tour

The journey begins at Coloane Pier, where participants can view the Sizimen Waters. The group will then walk along Litchi Wan Road to the Litchi Wan Shipbuilding Village and enter the Sun Wing Shipyard to experience the architectural structure of the shipyard firsthand. Finally, the tour concludes at the Litchi Wan Shipbuilding Industry Exhibition Hall. Through exhibits like models of the shipyard area, participants will gain a broader perspective on the Litchi Wan shipyard area and the traditional craftsmanship and culture of Macao's fishing boat building.

'Cheng Jiang' (Inheriting the Oar) Workshop

The "Cheng Jiang" workshop showcases the craft of oar-making. Participants will create a model boat oar, experiencing the unique aspects of shipbuilding craftsmanship. They will also learn about the different properties of various woods, such as hardness, water resistance, and the types of timber commonly used in wooden boat construction.
