When people think of Rua da Felicidade (Fuk Lung New Street), images of red windows, white walls, brothel culture, and souvenir shops often come to mind. But have you ever imagined experiencing an art and cultural journey there?
"Fuk Lung Project: Art Activates Community, Promotes Cultural Tourism" was one of the highlight programs of the 2014 Macao City Fringe Festival. It aimed to lead citizens and tourists on an artistic and cultural journey through various forms of expression and media, including text, sound, images, dance, and theater. Participants could feel the unique historical landscape and community culture of Fuk Lung New Street while sharing the deep, lingering human warmth of the area.
