About the Competition

The inaugural Petrof International Piano Competition honors the world-renowned piano manufacturer, Petrof. This first edition, held in Macau, is rooted in supporting the new generation of young artists, preserving and renewing artistic traditions while meeting the demands of modern audiences. The competition will gather some of today's finest pianists as judges.

A special tribute is paid to Macau composers, with the competition introducing a dedicated category for Macau piano works for the first time in an international contest.

Prizes & Opportunities

• Winners and outstanding performers—particularly those achieving excellence in Macau piano music—will be invited to give public concerts in the Czech Republic.
• They will also have the honor of visiting the historic, fifth-generation Petrof piano factory.

Competition Structure

• Categories include Professional, Amateur, and Youth divisions.
• Special competition groups: "Macau Piano Works" and "Czech Piano Works."
