First Macao Perfume Blending Competition (Mini Edition)
Registration is now open for the First Macao Perfume Blending Competition!
Key Information
- Registration Period: October 6 to December 20, 2016
- Eligibility: Open to all single perfume enthusiasts or individuals interested in perfume blending aged 30 and above.
Competition Rules & Regulations
Participants must create a series of three perfume works centered on the theme of "Love":
- Preliminary Round: Create a "First Encounter" perfume.
- Must attend the "Create Your Own Personality Perfume - Beginner Sharing Session".
- Competition Round: Create a "Falling in Love" perfume.
- Must attend the "Create Your Own Personality Perfume - Intermediate Sharing Session".
- Final Round: Create a "Marriage" perfume.
- Must attend the "Create Your Own Personality Perfume - Advanced Sharing Session".
Submission Requirements:
- Submit all three perfume works (including a 30ml sample and the formula for each).
- To ensure fairness, participants must attend the sessions in person and use the designated perfume ingredients: 10 types (Beginner), 20 types (Intermediate), and 30 types (Advanced).
- Each perfume creation must use a minimum of 5 different perfume ingredients in its formula.
Prizes
- Best Fragrance Man: Selected by public vote from all Macao citizens. Cash prize equivalent to 10% of the total fees collected from all participants across the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sharing sessions.
- Best Fragrance Woman: Selected by public vote from all Macao citizens. Cash prize equivalent to 10% of the total fees collected from all participants across the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced sharing sessions.
Winner Announcement & Award Ceremony
- Announcement Date: December 24, 2016
- Platform: Results will be announced on the Macao Aromatherapy Life Association's Facebook page and other online platforms.
- (The Macao Aromatherapy Life Association reserves the final right of decision regarding the competition results and the above arrangements.)
Special Note: The final winning man and woman will be arranged to attend a special "Scented Date" on Christmas Eve.
