🎬 Film Screening & Sharing Session: 'Survival Family' 🎬
As part of the Natural Art Project, the art centre presents the film 'Survival Family' to provoke reflection on our relationship with nature. Following the screening, a guest speaker will share insights on the connection between nature and urban living.
One day, the Suzuki family wakes up to find their home without electricity or water. Venturing outside, they discover the entire city, and eventually the whole world, is experiencing a massive blackout! They decide to seek refuge with their grandfather in Kagoshima, but the journey is far from easy. With transportation halted and phones useless, they must revert to a primitive, natural way of life. Faced with sudden crisis, can the Suzuki family unite and overcome this challenge together?
A series of human survival struggles unfolds! Don't expect the film to be all serious and tragic—Japanese comedy master Shinobu Yaguchi weaves dark humor throughout the entire story!
