Overview

A three-year intensive playwriting mentorship program culminates in its final phase: 'Refinement and Validation'. Emerging playwrights, having progressed through 'Vision and Structure' and 'Focus and Depth', now enter the rehearsal space with directors and actors. They will observe, identify issues, absorb feedback, and refine their scripts collaboratively, culminating in a series of focused staged reading performances.

Two Women, One Man, and a Pot of Tomato and Potato Soup

• Synopsis: What is the difference between 'fact' and 'truth'? Two women trapped in an abandoned printing factory role-play as journalists, simulating a murder and attempting to weave a 'truthful' narrative for the media, questioning our pursuit of reality.

About the Project: Feminine Writing – Read, Boundary, Read, Write

Organized by Route Arts Association, this long-term project explores gender/feminine issues and non-traditional performance forms. Inspired by Hélène Cixous's concept of 'Écriture féminine' (1975), the project extends the theory. 'Feminine' is not limited to biological sex but represents a conscious effort to discover voices that are ignored, forgotten, or oppressed, moving beyond rigid societal structures and stereotypes.

The four pillars of the project:

• Read: Understanding Western contemporary thought through reading sessions and literary lectures.
• Boundary: Detecting oppression in daily life, broadening horizons, and crossing or breaking boundaries through writing.
• Read (Script): Playwrights participate in rehearsals, receiving direct feedback from directors and actors at various script stages.
• Write: Nurturing playwrights to develop a text meticulously over time, fostering independent future creators.
