Activity Overview

An immersive internship program offering two tracks at the Green Fingers Organic Farm: a 10-day deep dive and a 3-day experience. It encourages university students to plan their leisure time flexibly, experiencing a simple yet fulfilling rural life through continuous and focused farm work. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of agricultural operations and reflect on life's meaning and social values through individual exchanges and group sharing.

Program Content

• Farm Work: Engage in daily farm tasks* for a deep learning experience in agricultural operations. *Tasks include weeding, tilling, irrigation, composting, building/removing trellises, fruit bagging for pest control, harvesting, fishing, herding cattle, pest/disease recording, tree pruning/planting, packaging, delivery, event reception, and administrative work. Specific tasks depend on the farm's current schedule.
• Learning Visits: Learn from experienced farm staff and visit other specialty farms in Zhuhai.
• Group Interaction: Participate in simple group activities each evening to enrich the spirit.
• Sharing & Reflection: Share feelings and summarize insights before, during, and after the program.
• Organic Meals: Enjoy fresh organic vegetables, fruits, fish, and chicken harvested from the farm for detoxification.

Key Details

• Quota: 8-10 people for the 10-day program; 5 people for the 3-day program.
• Target Participants: Macau residents studying at higher education institutions locally or abroad.
• Interview: Early bird interviews: July 13-22; Regular interviews: July 10-25. Venue tentatively at 1930 dream corner (facebook.com/1930dreamcorner). Changes will be notified individually.
• Application: Apply online via the form at https://goo.gl/4Jmsja until July 24.
• Selection: If applications exceed the quota, selection will be made by the organizer. Successful applicants will be notified via email or SMS on July 26.
• Deposit: A MOP 100/person deposit is required. It will be refunded after the sharing session for participants who complete the entire program.

Fees

• 10-Day Program: Early bird MOP 400; Regular MOP 500.
• 3-Day Program: Early bird MOP 120; Regular MOP 180.
• Note: Successful applicants must pay the program fee and deposit by August 4.
