Competition Rules
To enhance parent-child relationships, cultivate children's interest in reading, and record the joy and precious moments of family reading through photography, fostering a family culture of reading. The competition is open to all Macau residents.
Competition Details
- Theme: Parent-Child Reading Together
- Submission Period: July 8 to August 4, 2013
- Eligibility: Open to all Macau residents
Submission Requirements
- Photo Specifications: Photos with a resolution of no less than 5 megapixels.
- Theme: Must include a theme description.
- Submission Method: Upload to the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) Library's "Family Reading Festival" Facebook page and share publicly.
Judging Criteria
- 50% - Facebook Votes: Based on the number of "Likes" or "讚" on the IACM Library Family Reading Festival Facebook page. More votes equal a higher score.
- 30% - Photo Content: Quality and creativity of the photograph.
- 20% - Theme Relevance: Adherence to the "Parent-Child Reading Together" theme.
Results Announcement & Prizes
- Results: The winner list will be announced on the "Family Reading Festival" Facebook page in the second week of August. Winners will also be notified individually.
- Prizes:
- Weekly Prize: The photo with the most "Likes" each week wins book vouchers and souvenirs.
- Final Grand Prize: The first-place winner receives a set of Ocean Park tickets.
- Merit Awards: Five merit awards, each winner receives MOP 300 in book vouchers.
