"Family Interactive Theatre: Zero Tolerance for Domestic Violence, Cherish Those Around You" is a participatory theatre performance where stage actors and the audience perform together. The event aims to help participants understand what constitutes domestic violence, analyze its causes from multiple perspectives, and explore how seniors, parents, and children can manage their life stress and emotions. Through understanding, tolerance, and sharing life's moments, the goal is to collectively say "no" to domestic violence. The actors will also spread positive energy, teaching the audience how to assist neighbors or classmates who show signs of physical or emotional harm, with the hope of fostering a harmonious family living environment.
The story revolves around a father who is the head of the household, has a terrible temper, frequently resorts to verbal abuse, and physically assaults the mother and their daughter, Ming Ming. This situation has persisted for some time. Ming Ming's classmates at school notice bruises on her body and realize her family situation requires help. How will her classmates assist Ming Ming? The theatre stage is complemented by dynamic music and the actors' brilliant performances, immersing the audience in the story and allowing them to grasp its underlying messages and truths during the one-hour performance.
