Activity Overview

This event guides families to the countryside to observe Macau's birds and visit the newly built bird-watching hut. It allows parents and children to experience the joy of nature and learn about the birds living in Macau, helping children understand the importance of cherishing resources and protecting the environment.

• Speaker: Representative from the Environmental Protection Bureau
• Target Audience: Children aged 4 or above and their parents
• Meeting Point: Gather at the Octagonal Pavilion Bus Stop at 10:00 for boarding

Important Notes

1. Reading Club members have priority registration and can receive 2 reading credits.
2. If registered participants cannot attend, please notify library staff 3 days before the event. Unjustified absences accumulated twice will result in a 3-month suspension of activity participation rights.
3. Registered participants must arrive on time. Being late by 15 minutes or more will result in automatic forfeiture of participation rights for that activity.
4. Adverse Weather Arrangements:
   • All outdoor activities are cancelled or suspended during heavy rain, thunderstorm warnings, or when Typhoon Signal No. 3 is hoisted. Indoor activities proceed as usual.
   • All activities are cancelled when Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted.
   • If an activity is cancelled, participants must keep their receipt (if any) for arrangements by the organizer.

   • If registrations exceed the quota, a "computer lottery" will be used. Results will be announced on the IACM Library website on November 9: http://library.iacm.gov.mo. Successful applicants will be notified by phone.
