Following last year's Journey of Dreams, which began a journey of "fantasy, magic, and adventure," we set off in 2020 with the same spirit!
Exploring Alice's Fantasy Maze is based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, bringing the fantasy world to life. It carves a portal to a whimsical world within the Macau Tower, inviting audiences to join in realizing the purest and most beautiful dreams of the heart.
Featuring installation art by Cheong Hoi I, combined with mime performances by Zoco Arts Association, this fusion of two different art forms aims to offer audiences a fresh experience. Not only can you appreciate static art up close, but you can also enjoy mime performances on Sundays and play within the installation alongside the performers.
Since its founding, Zoco Arts Association has focused on promoting mime. In recent years, it has expanded into interactive installations and exhibition art, focusing on women's and gender issues. The association has experimented with various theatrical forms, combining sign language, physical movement, and drama in Andersen's Pilgrimage—The Red Shoes, creating unmanned installation experience theaters Jing and Qiong within bookstore environments, and breaking the barrier between performer and audience with the dating-themed DayDayDating, crafting intimate theatrical experiences with the audience.
