About EXiM 2016
EXiM (Experimental Moving Images in Macao) is an annual event organized by Ox Warehouse to promote experimental video art. The 2016 edition focuses on cultural exchange between Portugal and Macao, featuring screenings of experimental video works from both regions.

Open Call for Macao Artists
EXiM 2016 is planning two screenings dedicated to Macao experimental video works and is now accepting submissions from local creators.
Application Eligibility
- Applicants must be Macao residents or individuals working in Macao.
- Submitted works must have been created after January 2010.
- Video length is limited to 30 minutes.
- Applicants must own all copyrights to their work and guarantee its originality.
Submission Guidelines
- Accepted Formats: AVI, MOV, MPEG
- Submission Methods: Email (ensure the file is downloadable), mail, or in-person delivery to Ox Warehouse.

- Limit: Maximum of two works per applicant.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: September 30, 2016
- Selection Results Notification: October 20–30, 2016
Selection Process
- Curators will be responsible for selecting the works.
- There are no specific thematic or formal criteria, as experimental video is an autonomous art form. All works within the experimental and artistic scope will be considered, excluding those with offensive or provocative content.
- The curators' decision is final.
For Selected Works
- Selected works may be used for research and non-commercial screenings related to the event.
- Creators agree that up to 30 seconds of their work may be used for promotional purposes for EXiM 2017.
Other Information
- There is no fee to participate.
- The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation of these terms and the application form.
