Submission Guidelines
- Digital photo (JPEG file, 2MB-5MB).
- The work must not have been entered into any other photography competition.
- Only basic photo editing is allowed, including reasonable adjustments to brightness, color saturation, or moderate cropping. Any computer-synthesized or excessively processed works will not be accepted.
- The submitted photo must be the original work of the contestant and not plagiarized. Contestants will bear all possible copyright legal liabilities otherwise.
How to Submit
Participants can download the application form from the "Workers' Union Toi San Community Centre" Facebook fan page. Complete the form and submit it along with one family hug photo (JPEG file, 2MB-5MB) and a text description (limited to 100 words) via email to [email protected]. Alternatively, participants can visit the centre in person to fill out the application form and submit the photo on a CD.
Competition Rules
- All submitted works will not be returned. The copyright belongs to the organizer, who reserves the right to use the works for promotion, exhibition, publication, distribution, etc., without notifying the contestant or paying any fees.
- The organizer reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entry without explanation.
- By submitting the entry form, contestants fully agree to the competition rules. Violation may result in disqualification and forfeiture of awards.
- The judging panel's decision is final, and contestants may not dispute it.
- Contestants agree to provide personal information from the entry form to the organizer for identity verification and contact purposes.
- The organizer has the final decision on competition details and judging results.
- The centre will upload submitted works to the event's Facebook page within 2-3 days and notify contestants via email with the activity link so they can invite friends to 'like' their entry for the Online Popularity Award.
Judging Criteria
Relevance to theme, creativity, technique, composition.
Selection Method
- Online Popularity Award (1 winner): The entry with the highest number of 'likes' on Facebook.
- Other Awards (Champion, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up, Merit Awards): Selected by the judging panel.
