Local Musicians Concert
A special concert series within the Macau International Music Festival, dedicated to promoting local music culture and showcasing the talent and artistic achievements of Macau's young performers.

Featured Artists
Lo Ching Iu (Violin)
- Began studying violin at age six at the Macau Conservatory under Wong Hou.
- By 2014 (age 13), she won first place in all categories (Intermediate, Advanced, String Concerto) of the Macau Young Musicians Competition, twice receiving the Most Promising Award and the 2014 Cultural Affairs Bureau Grand Prize.
- Attended the Manhattan School of Music in the US under Nicholas Mann, supported by the Kate Bamberger Memorial Fund Scholarship and the Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau.
- Has won numerous international and regional competition awards in Hong Kong and the US.
- Currently serves as the concertmaster of the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Symphony Orchestra.
Wong So Iong (Piano)
- Holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Wright State University and a Master of Music from the Steinhardt School at New York University.
- Studied under Dr. Leong I Son and Eduardus Halim (the last direct disciple of Vladimir Horowitz).
- Awarded numerous prizes in Macau and the US, including the 27th Macau Young Musicians Competition Cultural Affairs Bureau Grand Prize, three-time winner of the Wright State University Honors Recital Competition, and winner of the Ohio Music Teachers Association Competition (College/Young Artist Division).
- Recipient of scholarships including the Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau Scholarship and Wright State University Scholarship.
- Currently a renowned pianist and music educator in Vermont, frequently touring.
