Event Purpose

To support the Macau SAR government's poverty alleviation efforts in Congjiang, this initiative aims to empower Macau youth to utilize their holidays for meaningful action. The program embodies the principle of "eradicating poverty by first eradicating ignorance," and emphasizes "teaching a person to fish" over "giving a person a fish." Participants will gain firsthand understanding of the challenges faced in local poverty alleviation and learn the value of contentment. Through educational and cultural exchange activities, the program fosters communication and builds friendships between the people of Macau and Guizhou, realizing the meaningful concept of "igniting life with life" and perpetuating love through action.
