Purpose
Encourage young people to participate in social service as a leisure activity, where they can learn helping skills and unleash their personal potential. Through practical activities, provide young people who already have a basic concept of volunteer work with opportunities for practice, helping to enhance their self-image and develop their personal abilities.
Content
- Training Course: Definition, code of conduct, rights and obligations, meaning and value, responsibilities and attitudes of volunteer work; Overview of Macao social service/welfare institutions; Introduction to service recipient categories.
- Day Camp: Storytelling skills training and drama guidance exercises; Voice, expression and body development; Use of stage space.
- External Training (Hong Kong): Experience games and drama activities related to storytelling art, personally experience and master the creative process of "Picture Book Narrative Theatre".
- Service Practice: Volunteer service; Assisting with large-scale events or other activities organized by the center.

Training course, team training camp, service practice.
Target Participants
Macao youth aged 13 to 24.
Quota
24 participants (first-come, first-served).
Schedule
- Training Course: November 10, 2018 (Saturday, 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM)
- Day Camp: November 11, 2018 (Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- External Training: November 17–18, 2018 (Assembly: Saturday 9:00 AM, Dismissal: Sunday 6:00 PM)
- Service Practice: November – December 2018 (minimum 6 hours of service practice)

Admission
Free of charge.

Registration Methods
- Use the online registration service at the official website or register in person at the registration location.
- Complete the bureau's personal registration form and submit it in person at the registration location (forms can be downloaded from the bureau's website www.dsej.gov.mo under "Online Services" > "Form Download").

Certificate
Participants with over 80% attendance and at least 6 hours of service practice will receive a certificate.

Typhoon & Rainstorm Arrangements
- If the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) issues a rainstorm warning or hoists Typhoon Signal No. 3 two hours before the activity starts, the day's activity will be cancelled.
- If Typhoon Signal No. 8 is hoisted during an indoor activity, the activity must be terminated, and participants should leave as soon as it is safe to do so.
- If a rainstorm warning is issued or Typhoon Signal No. 3 is hoisted during an outdoor activity, the activity must be terminated, and participants should leave under safe conditions.
Remarks
- The organizer reserves the right to provide supplementary explanations for any inadequacies in the regulations.
- Age is calculated based on full years (e.g., if a participant is 24 years and 11 months old on the day the course/activity starts, they are considered 24 and eligible to participate).
- Participants are requested to cherish resources and avoid无故 absence (participants who are absent for two consecutive sessions starting from the first session will be considered as having forfeited their place). For请假, please contact center staff at 2833 2084.
- The center handles all participants' personal data in accordance with Law No. 8/2005, the "Personal Data Protection Act". Information provided by applicants is strictly confidential and used solely for activity registration purposes. Photos taken during the activity will be used for promotional purposes only.
