Program Introduction
Windswept sands bury a restorer's lifelong efforts. The restored court lady sculptures within the grotto have crumbled into ruins, yet he cannot forget that graceful, long-sleeved, dancing figure. Across a century, perhaps those works never truly vanished but merely transformed into another form of existence, preserved between heaven and earth. Celestial phenomena, the Western Thousand Buddha Caves, court lady sculptures... Why do flickering images always remind her of these magnificent, distant scenes thousands of miles away? Unfamiliar, yet strangely familiar...
