Overview

The Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSED) will organize a series of professional development activities for teaching staff in October 2017 through its Educational Resources Centre. The program includes workshops, seminars, and training courses covering various topics such as classroom management, sex education pedagogy, moral education, classical Chinese literature, and teaching methodologies.

  • Target: Class teachers (Primary and Secondary school levels)

• 2. School Sex Education Teaching Techniques Workshop

  • Date: Saturday, October 14
  • Time: 10:30–13:30 & 14:30–17:30
  • Quota: 30 participants
  • Target: Junior Secondary Moral and Civic Education subject teachers

• 3. School Sex Education Teaching Techniques Workshop

  • Date: Saturday, October 14
  • Time: 14:00–17:00 & 18:00–21:00
  • Quota: 30 participants
  • Target: Primary General Studies, Moral and Civic Education subject teachers

• 4. "Speaking Virtue Together" Moral Education Sharing Session – Prevention and Intervention of Adolescent Gambling Behavior

  • Time: Friday 18:00–21:00 & Saturday 14:00–17:00

  • Target: Secondary school English subject teachers

• 8. Creating Simple Interactive E-books

  • Dates: Tuesdays and Fridays from October 31 to November 17
  • Time: 18:30–21:30
  • Quota: 15 participants
