Overview
"Dream Project" is a competition offering a unique internship opportunity at the world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects in the UK. Organized for Macau's architecture students and graduates, the contest aims to broaden horizons, inspire creative thinking, and prepare young talent for careers in Macau's architectural industry.

Theme
"Villa in the Landscape" (景緻中的別墅)
Eligibility
- Must hold a valid Macau Permanent Resident ID and travel document.
- Must be a tertiary student (including Master's and PhD students) majoring in architecture or a related engineering field, studying in Macau or abroad.
Competition Rules & Submission Requirements
- Participants must enter individually and submit an original architectural design.
- Design must align with the theme.
- Submission must include:
- A short text describing the design concept.
- A site plan showing the villa's placement within the landscape.
- Internal layout design.
- Two A3-sized design drawings (one showing the villa's relationship to the site, the other detailing design features via sketches, drawings, and annotations).
- Files must be submitted digitally: A3 drawings as PDF (300 dpi minimum), text documents as Word files.
- Physical models are not accepted.
- The organizer and participant will jointly own the rights to the submitted work.

- Announcement of Top 5 Finalists: November 10, 2014
- 3D Print Model Submission (for finalists): By December 5, 2014
- Final Result Announcement: December 18, 2014

Judging
A panel consisting of representatives from Zaha Hadid Architects, Melco Crown Entertainment, and local architectural professionals will judge entries based on design concept, feasibility, creativity, ability to handle complex designs, and understanding of 3D printing feasibility.
Prize
- The winner will undertake a one-week internship at Zaha Hadid Architects in the UK.
- The organizer will cover all related expenses for the winner, including:
- Ferry tickets between Macau and Hong Kong International Airport.
- Round-trip air tickets between Hong Kong and the UK.
- Accommodation in the UK.
- Daily meal and transportation allowance.
- Travel insurance for the UK stay.
