Competition Regulations
I. Objective
To encourage and discover more painting enthusiasts to participate in cultural and creative arts and design using stamps.
II. Eligibility
Full-time students in Macao schools and Macao residents can participate individually in one of the following categories:
- Children's Group: Ages 6–12 (born between January 1, 2005, and December 31, 2011).
- Youth Group: Ages 13–18 (born between January 1, 1999, and December 31, 2004).
- Open Group: No age restrictions.
III. Entry Requirements
- Hand-drawn stamp story illustrations. Each participant may submit only one entry.
- The concept must be based on currently circulating "Macao, China" stamps or souvenir sheets.
- Must be hand-drawn on 29.5cm x 21cm (A4) paper, either horizontal or vertical orientation. Computer-generated images are not accepted.
- Only one complete souvenir sheet OR one or more complete stamps may be affixed to the artwork. Works using counterfeit, photocopied, or pre-handover stamps do not meet the requirements.
- Painting materials and colors are unrestricted, but no other collage materials besides stamps or souvenir sheets are allowed on the artwork.
V. Registration and Submission
- Complete the application form and submit it along with the artwork to the Communications Museum.
- Office Hours: Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. Closed on public holidays.
- Submission Deadline: Saturday, September 9, 2017, 5:30 PM. Late submissions will not be judged.
