About the Competition

To complement the "1001 Inventions: The Golden Age of Arab Science" exhibition, the Macau Science Center is organizing a painting competition. The event aims to encourage children to unleash their creativity and imagination while fostering their interest in ancient Arab scientific inventions.

Competition Details

• Theme: My Favorite Ancient Arab Scientific Invention
• Subject Requirement: All entries must be based on exhibits from the "1001 Inventions: The Golden Age of Arab Science" exhibition.
• Submission Period: From now until September 30, 2019
• Competition Categories:
  • Junior Primary Group (Primary 1 to Primary 3)
  • Senior Primary Group (Primary 4 to Primary 6)
• Participation Gift: All participants will receive a souvenir upon submission of their artwork.
