About the Talk

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) collaborates with the Everyone Stray Dog Macau Volunteer Group to host the first series of "Dog and Cat Adoption Sharing Talks" from March to July. The event is free of charge, and all members of the public are welcome to participate.

Event Objectives

The talk aims to promote the adoption services of the Municipal Kennel, encouraging the public to "Adopt, Don't Shop." It also seeks to enhance public knowledge about canine and feline behavior and responsible pet care, preparing potential owners to become responsible pet guardians and commit to a lifelong bond with their pets, thereby preventing abandonment.

Additionally, the talk provides a parent-child learning platform to explore the significance of life education, the value of respecting and cherishing animal life, and fostering a harmonious relationship between humans and pets.
