About the Challenge
Do you believe the problems around you can one day be solved by you? While others are still complaining, you can be the first to take action! The theme is up to you. Unleash your infinite creativity, challenge yourself, and change Macau!
Key Details
- Target Participants: Primary and secondary school students in Macau aged 6 to 17.
- Format: Participate as an individual or in a team of up to 5 people, guided by one adult who is responsible for coordination.
The Challenge Process
- Feel - Observe potential problems in daily life or wishes you want to achieve.
- Imagine - Come up with innovative methods to solve or improve the problem.
- Do - Implement your idea with minimal resources within one week.
- Share - Share your story with people around you and the world to inspire more action.
Document the process of completing these four steps and present it in one of the following formats:
- A video (3 to 5 minutes)
- A slideshow (with text and photos)
- A report (with text and photos)
What Can You Gain?
After completing the four steps and submitting your work, verified participants can receive:
- Outstanding performers will represent Macau at the "Children's Creative Carnival" in Taiwan, exchange with DFC China, and attend the "Be the Change International Conference 2014" in India. Selection will be conducted by the organizer.
- Outstanding performers will share their change stories at the Macau Awards Ceremony.
- Outstanding stories will be compiled into a book and promoted worldwide.
- Outstanding performers will receive special awards and participate in unique experiences.
- Participants have a chance to win the "Most Popular Online Award" and the "Long-term Action Award."
- All participants will receive an internationally recognized certificate of participation.
- All participants will receive a special souvenir.
- Guides for award-winning projects will receive an Excellent Guide Award.

- Registration Deadline: From now until April 15, 2014.
- Submission Deadline: From now until April 30, 2014.
