When Ada was very young, his father passed away. From then on, Grandma, Mother, and Ada's lives were missing an important person. Although the three still had each other for company, in order not to worry the other two, they gradually learned to hide things. Grandma, targeted by a fraud ring, deals with the criminals alone. Mother buries her inner feelings and dreams to focus on caring for her son and mother-in-law. Ada causes a major disaster and doesn't know how to handle it... Each of the three has their own vulnerable side, yet they pretend to be strong in front of their family.
Adapted from the director's personal experience, the story uses a flashback narrative to present, in a plain yet moving way, the longing for Grandma and life's most unforgettable memories. In the process of tracing back, it also uncovers the contradictions and struggles of family affection. The director emotionally reveals personal, intimate feelings, bringing warm and sincere emotion to the audience and evoking everyone's memories of 'home.' A Taiwan Golden Horse Award entry film.
