Want to go stargazing this summer? The Macao Science Centre has specially arranged a trip to Danxia Mountain for you: learn while you play! Hike along mountain trails, immerse yourself in a natural oxygen bar, breathe fresh air, surrounded by birdsong and cicadas. Nature, astronomy, geology, biology... a single journey covers it all!
Danxia Mountain is located in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, famous for its unique landforms. It is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and a UNESCO Global Geopark, and also the first Science Town in Guangdong. In this relaxed summer camp tour, besides the amazing landforms and diverse flora and fauna, the star-filled sky is a highlight. With minimal light pollution, Danxia Mountain's atmosphere has high transparency. On a clear night, you can see over 1,000 stars and even have a chance to see the center of the Milky Way and deep-sky objects.
By joining this science summer camp, you will gain:

- Day 1: Arrive at Shaoguan Science Town, ice-breaking games, museum visit, Danxia landform sedimentation experiment.
- Day 2: Danxia Mountain Route 1 sightseeing, scientific Route 2 Xianglong Lake boat tour, research study session.
- Day 3: Natural bird-watching class, Danxia Mountain comprehensive investigation activity theme creation and sharing.
