To promote cultural heritage protection messages to residents and tourists, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM) continues to strengthen the popularization of heritage laws. This year, the "Cultural Heritage Mobile Promotion Stations" will be set up again in various communities and tourist attractions across Macau. The stations combine booth games, comic exhibition panels, and parent-child puppet theater to convey knowledge about the Cultural Heritage Protection Law and its relevance to daily life in a fun and engaging way.
Key Activities
- Mobile Promotion Stations: Located in various communities and tourist spots, featuring illustrated panels, promotional pamphlets, and prize-winning booth games (every Sunday, 14:30–17:30). They introduce Macau's cultural heritage and information from the Cultural Heritage Protection Law relevant to residents' lives and tourists' visits.
- Comic Exhibition Panels: Touring panels are set up at ICM-affiliated libraries (Seac Pai Van Library, Patane Library, Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, Taipa Library), the Macau Conservatory, the School of Theatre, the School of Music, and the Ruins of St. Paul's. These use lively four-panel comic strips to disseminate heritage protection information.
- Parent-Child Puppet Theater: Held regularly on the third Sunday of each month from 15:00–16:00 at Casa de Lou Kau. This educational and entertaining activity aims to increase children's interest in learning about the Cultural Heritage Protection Law. It includes an interactive Q&A session with limited-edition gifts.
